The way we tell stories has changed - but the elements of a good story have not.

My name is Michael Lees and I’m a visual storyteller based in Dominica. Through my films and photography I aim to inspire, challenge, and push audiences towards realizing their true role in the greater story we are all a part of.

My friends joke I lack patience — “No long story,” is a phrase they’ve all become too familiar with. Personally I just hate wasting time — both mine and others’. Throw away all the fluff, strip things down to their bare-bones — this is where the heart of things lie.

When I’m not working on my own stories, I’m here to help others bring their stories to life. Resonant, clear, concise. The world would be a better place with more of this sort of communication.
